Remy Appears in NESN Booth During Tigers-Red Sox Game There has been a Jerry Remy sighting at Fenway Park. NESN’s Red Sox color commentator joined Don Orsillo and Dennis Eckersley in the broadcast booth in the second inning of Wednesday's game against the Tigers.

Remy was in the Red Sox clubhouse before the game and also attended manager Terry Francona's pregame news conference. The beloved broadcaster won't travel with the team on the upcoming road trip to Texas and Toronto, but he expects to return full-time soon.

Remy has been on a leave of absence for most of this season to fully recover from the effects of cancer surgery. The former Red Sox second baseman joined the New England Sports Network in 1988 and has teamed with Orsillo since 2001.
