It's just Day 3 of Celtics preseason camp, but the men in green have already received some scary news.

Second-year player Bill Walker left practice early Wednesday and drove back to Boston to get an MRI on his surgically repaired right knee.

Walker has had knee problems in the past. He tore his left ACL while at Kansas State before hurting his right knee in a workout with the Golden State Warriors in 2008. He had surgery on the knee soon thereafter.

The 21-year-old averaged three points in just 29 games last year with the Celtics. The 6-foot-6, 220-pounder started 15 games with Utah of the NBDL, where he averaged 18.9 points and 5.3 rebounds in over 30 minutes of action per game.
