Champ Bailey: Randy Moss Does Not Dog It Champ Bailey is excited about this weekend's matchup against New England, and he's not afraid to share it.

The eight-time Pro Bowler — who made many New Englanders miserable in the 2006 playoffs, when he registered a crucial interception to essentially seal the end of the Patriots' season — is especially excited about facing Randy Moss.

"I've always said from the first time I played with him, he's one of the best I've ever seen, even to this day," Bailey said in a conference call. "He's in his 12th season, but that guy, he plays like he's 25 again. He's so dangerous. He has that deceptive speed. You know he's fast, but then he doesn't run fast, and then he's at top speed. He's a dangerous guy. I look forward to that matchup because if you can come out playing well against him, you know you've done some good things."

And what about those reports that Moss has been dogging it over the first four games of he season? Nonsense, says Bailey.

"He never lollygags," Bailey said. "That's the thing. People really don't understand the game. He blocks. He does all those little things. I wouldn't say he's the greatest blocker, but he does it effectively."

Bailey vs. Moss isn't the only matchup worth watching for on Sunday; there's also that whole thing about Bill Belichick facing his protege. Bailey has full faith that his first-year coach will be able to compete.

"I'll tell you what, being under Josh McDaniels a few months, he's a guy that's going to have you as prepared as you can be for a game. That's something that throughout my 11 years, I haven't had a lot of."

Ouch, says Mike Shanahan.
