Rich Hammond, the beat reporter for the Los Angeles Kings' Web site, is reporting that the 2010 NHL Entry Draft will take place in L.A. at either the Kings' home arena, STAPLES Center, or the Nokia Center on June 25-26.

"It won't be announced by the league until early December," Hammond wrote on Monday night, "but Kings officials have been told that Los Angeles will host the NHL Entry Draft next June. … By all accounts, it will be the same format, with the first round on Friday night and the rest on Saturday."

As of now, the Bruins would be picking twice on that Friday night and three more times in the second round on Saturday.

They acquired two of those extra picks from the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Phil Kessel trade and got the additional second-round selection from Tampa Bay in the deal that brought Mark Recchi to Boston.
