Broncos' Woes Come to a Head With Brandon Marshall-Knowshon Moreno Scuffle It all started so well for the Broncos this season. Now — in the midst of a four-game losing streak that culminated in a 32-3 beating at the hands of division rival San Diego — everyone on the Denver sideline is feeling the pressure. And now it's showing.

After rookie Knowshon Moreno fumbled at the goal line during Sunday's game, wide receiver Brandon Marshall could be seen berating him, and Moreno responded to the attack with a hard shove. In addition, coach Josh McDaniels was seen exchanging unpleasant words with some members of the Chargers, according to ESPN.com.

It doesn't exactly sound like a recipe for success.

"We've got a lot of emotional players on our team. I'm an emotional person myself," McDaniels told ESPN.com after the game. "Sometimes that happens. I'm not saying it's good, as long as people can work things out. Obviously, we don't want to make scenes or problems for ourselves on the sideline. But there are a lot of things that happen on the sideline that involve emotion."

Since starting the season 6-0, Denver has been unable to win and is now locked in a virtual tie with San Diego atop the AFC West standings.

"I'm done feeling the loss. I'm sick of it, and I know everybody else is," said quarterback Kyle Orton. "It's been a long time since we've won."

What can the Broncos do to turn things around? They can start by learning how to play with each other, not against each other.

"We have to check it now," said defensive end Vonnie Holliday. "We have to come down fierce with it and with a hard fist. We're a blue-collar team. We're not filled with 10 to 12 Pro Bowl guys. The first six games of the season, we won games together, guys going out and putting it on the line. It wasn't always pretty and it's not going to be pretty. We have to find a way to claw back and get back into the game."
