Center David Krejci has returned to the ice for the Bruins, according to NESN.com's James Murphy.

The 23-year-old forward suffered from a case of the H1N1 flu virus last week. He was not allowed to return until he was "fever and symptom free for 24 hours."

Krejci skated on a line with Blake Wheeler and Vladimir Sobotka at practice on Monday, according to Murphy.

"I felt pretty good," Krejci told the media after practice. "Obviously, I didn't skate for five days, so I was a little rusty. But I'll be good tomorrow."

After feeling ill last Tuesday night, he was diagnosed Wednesday and was not present the following day for the team's morning skate prior to the game with Montreal.

"The last few days, I didn't have any fever. I just had a little headache and felt a little weak," he said. "But I felt pretty good yesterday and did a 20-minute bike ride and then [went] back home and [woke] up this morning and felt pretty good."

In 14 games this season, Krejci has one goal and four assists. He returned to the ice ahead of schedule after undergoing hip surgery in the offseason.

The Bruins next play on Tuesday night, when they host the defending Stanley Cup champion Penguins. The B's will then continue their busy November with games every other day, playing the Panthers on Thursday, traveling to Pittsburgh on Saturday and hosting the Islanders on Monday, Nov. 16.

Update: Milan Lucic also practiced individually in full equipment on Monday morning. The forward lines in practice were:

Marco Sturm–Patrice Bergeron–Mark Recchi
Vladimir Sobotka–David Krejci–Blake Wheeler
Daniel Paille–Trent Whitfield–Brad Marchand
Shawn Thornton–Steve Begin–Byron Bitz
