Rajon Rondo, Chris Paul Won't Be Fined For Postgame Exchange

Looks like Rajon Rondo is getting out of this little Chris Paul situation unscathed.

The Celtics guard, who had an unpleasant exchange with Paul at the end of the Celtics' win over the Hornets on Sunday, will not be penalized by the league, and neither will Paul.

According to Boston.com, NBA spokesman Tim Frank said there will be "nothing further" on the situation.

As the Celtics and Hornets shook hands after the game, Rondo and Paul got into a little skirmish and had to be separated. Nobody really knows what was said, but the rumor mill has been running wild in the aftermath -- one report claims that Ray Allen took a trip to the Hornets locker room to personally apologize on Rondo's behalf -- but for now, the case is closed.

Rondo declined to elaborate on the issue after the game, but Paul spoke about Rondo and then tweeted his version of the saga.

"jus to clear this up I never came close to approaching the Celts locker room last nite not sure where that's coming from," Paul wrote on his Twitter page

The two players seemed to be pushing each other's buttons throughout the game. Both were whistled for technical fouls at the end of the second quarter.
