Rex Ryan Cries During Jets Team Meeting This year, Jets fans have experienced a wide spectrum of emotions, ranging from pride and joy in the beginning of the season and changing over to anger, fear and rage in the past five weeks.

Rex Ryan has not been immune to riding the emotional roller coaster, and according to a report in the New York Post, the rookie head coach couldn't hold back tears in a team meeting on Monday.

"He didn't bash us at all; he was just very emotional … he was crying," former Patriot Damien Woody told The Post. "He was talking about the situation — this upcoming game with New England and how we're still there, how we still have a pulse. He said it's all about us, that nobody believes in us and that we are the only ones who believe we can get things done.

"He said, 'I believe in you; I believe you get can get this thing done,' and that's when he really got emotional."

Said cornerback Darrelle Revis: "I was a little upset to see him that way. … I haven't been a part of a meeting where a coach cried like that."

The Jets have lost five of their last six games, including a 24-22 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
