Why did NHL commissioner Gary Bettman choose Boston for the site of this year's Winter Classic?
"Isn't it obvious?" he asked with a smile.
Because it's one of the best sports cities in the nation, because Fenway Park is a legendary site, and despite the perilous weather forecast, an outdoor hockey game in Boston would be certain to carry on the excitement that the Winter Classic has produced over the past three years.
