In case you hadn't noticed, more than just football is played at the new Cowboys Stadium. Jerry Jones' monolith lived up to its name last weekend by hosting real-life cowboys in the PBR Dickies Iron Man Cowboy Invitational, SportsBusiness Daily reports.

Brazilian Valdiron de Oliveira won the competition, earning the title of 2010 Dickies Iron Cowboy and claiming $260,000 in the professional bull riding competition.

"I don't have enough words to thank," de Oliveira told The Dallas Morning News. "Thank God and this event, and PBR for putting this event up to make that kind of money on a one-day deal."

Event officials estimate 40,000 to 50,000 fans attended the event, the Morning News reports.

Cowboys Stadium has hosted several prominent events since its 2009 grand opening, including this year's NBA All-Star Game.
