John Daly Endorsing Underwear Line There's a certain mold that advertisers have in mind when they're selecting their underwear models. In men's ads, sculpted muscles, waxed chests and, well, the ability to look good in a pair of underwear tend to be at the forefront.

John Daly is turning the underwear world on its head.

The 43-year-old golfer, who has struggled with his weight and alcoholism over the course of his career, is endorsing a line of underwear. The Associated Press reports that Slix, a four-month-old online company, has hired Daly to "endorse its line of Slix Closer boxer briefs."

While he's unlikely to become a model for Slix, he may be more fit than ever to do so. In December, he announced he had lost 100 pounds. While that's good for Daly, it still can't erase horrific images ingrained in people's minds. Like this one. Or this one. And this one.

Needless to say, the ads will be interesting, to say the very least.
