Mike Reiss: Randy Moss Unlikely to Undergo Surgery in Offseason (Video)

Shalise and Reiss It was obvious that things weren't quite right for Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss in 2009, and this week, NESN insider Mike Reiss revealed a possible reason why: Moss suffered from a shoulder injury throughout much of the season.

Still, though, neither Reiss nor Shalise Manza Young believe the injury, however severe, seriously compromised Moss' ability on the field.

"I think that overall, he still had a pretty good season," Reiss said. "I wouldn't necessarily use this as an excuse for anything that happened with Randy Moss on the field this year."

Manza Young added that she doubts Moss will undergo surgery in the offseason.
