Report: Jets Will Be Featured on This Year's 'Hard Knocks' For any NFL junkie, Hard Knocks is a must-watch throughout the summer, as the HBO documentary-style show follows the inner workings of an NFL franchise from day 1 of the season through the end of the preseason.

This year, the show could be at its very best.

According to Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News, the team featured this season will be none other than the New York Jets. The report said that the team is expected to make the announcement on Thursday.

The show will be enjoyable because of Rex Ryan, who will be the main character of this New York-based drama. Love him or hate him, Ryan will be providing plenty of entertainment for football fans. There will also be the colorful characters like Bart Scott (he of powder blue suit fame), newly acquired Antonio Cromartie, Darrelle Revis and Mark Sanchez.

Other teams that have been featured in the show are the Baltimore Ravens in 2001, the Dallas Cowboys in 2002 and 2008, the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007 and the Cincinnati Bengals in 2009.
