American Idol's 'Pants on the Ground' Gets One Shining Moment With William Hung So apparently, American Idol is over, and some guy named Lee DeWyze is the winner. Awesome.

For fans of the show, that’s probably pretty cool, but for the rest of us, the season finale (and Simon Cowell finale) was notable because it gives us one last opportunity to relive “Pants on the Ground.”

With William Hung.

In case you’re not familiar with the song, it was performed earlier in the season by a guy named General Larry Platt, and it became an Internet sensation. It even got covered by Brett Favre in the Vikings’ locker room.

It came back with a vengeance Wednesday night, with two horribly awesome performers singing the song in front of millions (the video is at the bottom of the post).

Only in America.
