It came down to the last weekend of the season, but Boston College earned a spot in the ACC baseball tournament — and you can catch the action live on NESN.

NESN will broadcast BC's games at noon on both Wednesday and Thursday.

The eighth-seeded Eagles will take on Virginia — the top-seeded and top-ranked team in the conference — at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro. On Thursday, BC will face Miami.

As the lowest seed, the Eagles are in Division A with Virginia, No. 4 Miami and No. 5 Florida State. Division B features No. 2 Clemson, No. 3 Georgia Tech, No. 6 Virginia Tech and No. 7 North Carolina.

BC will play a game against each of the other three teams in its division from Wednesday to Saturday. At the end of that round, the two teams with the best records within their brackets will advance to Sunday's title game, which will determine which ACC squad gets an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

In last season's conference tournament, BC went 2-1 in pool play.

BC finished 14-16 in regular-season play in 2010.
