Stephen Strasburg's Rookie Card Is Worth a Small Fortune Everything about Stephen Strasburg has been impressive so far — including his rookie card.

There’s only one 2010 Bowman Chrome “Superfractor” Strasburg card in existence, and it has 79 bids on eBay (as of this writing). The asking price?  A whopping $14,299.99, and the online auction still has four days left.

According to Yahoo Sports, a poster on Freedom Cardboard says he’s the one selling the card, and Blowout Cards is running a contest to guess the final price of the card marked “1/1.”

Strasburg still has not even thrown a pitch for the Washington Nationals, but he is one of the most highly touted prospects in baseball history.

The 21-year-old right-hander signed a record $15.1 million deal after being drafted first overall in last June’s draft.

At this rate, Strasburg’s rookie card could be even more lucrative than his right arm.
