There is selling your soul to the devil, and then there is crossing sides in the Celtics-Lakers rivalry.

Harold and Jonas Partovi are guilty of the latter, which many believe is a much more serious offense.

According to the Boston Herald, the towels emblazoned with the words “Beat L.A.” were made in Carson, Calif., by Towel Trading Group, which is owned by the Partovis, who are die-hard Lakers fans.

What’s even worse about this Parvoti fellow? He grew up in New York as a Celtics fan but transformed into a Lakers supporter after moving to L.A.

Try figuring that one out.

At least his employees have some loyalty, as the report explains that Lakers fans refused to work on the Celtics’ towels, while Celtics fans in the factory did the same when the company was producing Lakers rally towels.
