Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli Hoping to Trade Away Picks to 'Get Better Now'

Peter Chiarelli With the No. 2 pick in the upcoming NHL draft, Peter Chiarelli told NESN's Naoko Funayama that the Bruins are looking forward to taking either Taylor Hall or Tyler Seguin.

And who in Boston isn't?

"Those two players, Taylor Hall and Tyler Seguin, are two terrific players, and they're both tremendous young kids too, so we're going to get one of those two players."

When asked about their character, Chiarelli said, "They both want to win. That was one of the top denominators in talking to both of them."

There has been some speculation about whether the Bruins will trade away any of their picks. Chiarelli assures fans that the No. 2 pick isn't going anywhere, but he'd consider trading the others.

"I'm not going to trade away the No. 2 pick but certainly I'd like to trade away the other picks because certainly we'd like to get better now too. "
