FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots safety Patrick Chung shaved off his cornrows, but that’s not the only new look he's been rocking.

The second-year defensive back has also been wearing a red non-contact jersey during New England's organized team activities, but he's being elusive about the injury.

"It's a fashion statement, man," Chung said with a wide grin. "It's for style."

Chung predictably wouldn’t answer any questions about his injury. He was wearing a cast on his left wrist last week, but it was gone on Monday, which is obviously a good sign.

He is the only player in camp who is wearing the red jersey, and he said he'll keep it in style until the coaches play the role of fashion police and tell him to switch to the blue practice jersey that is worn by the defensive players.

"It's great, man," Chung said, preferring to play ignorant. "I just like this color. This is a red jersey. These are our colors, right?"
