FOXBORO, Mass. — As always, the Boston Celtics have the full support of the New England Patriots, and with Game 6 set for Tuesday night, the Pats’ eyes might be a little heavy during Wednesday morning’s early meeting.

"It doesn’t matter," Vince Wilfork said about being a little tired Wednesday morning. "I’ll definitely see it. I’ll be rooting those guys on. Like I say, to go through what they went through this year, with everyone counting them out, it’s just a blessing for those guys to be where they’re at. And hopefully, they can pull it out."

Wilfork has been a Celtics fan since he was young, and he’s been a regular citizen of the Garden crowd during the last few years. Many of the Patriots have showed up during the Celtics’ playoff run, including Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Leigh Bodden, Darius Butler, Stephen Gostkowski and Ty Warren. Former Patriots Tedy Bruschi, Ty Law and Larry Izzo have also been in the house.

"I was definitely out there cheering for the Celtics every time a guy made a play," Warren said. "I think they can definitely pull it out, no question about it."

The Celtics have a 3-2 series lead and are trying to lock up their 18th world championship, including their 10th title at the expense of the Lakers.

"I have faith in the Celtics bringing one more back home. I mean, 3-2, up in LA.," Wilfork said. "I like our odds. I’ll take that any day. We got two games to get it done. Hopefully, we’ll get it done tonight. But if not, they’ve got another crack at it. We’re going to see. Just know, they got a huge fan at home in Franklin that’s going to be home rooting for them. I’m happy for them."
