Sunday, LeBron James was said to be leaning towards the Windy City. Monday, it was reported that he's got his eye set on South Beach instead.

Still a few days away from the July 1 start of NBA free agency, rumors about where the free-agent-to-be James is going to sign continue to fly.

Fox Sports' Stephen A. Smith went on Dan Patrick's radio show Monday and said that instead of signing with the Bulls, LeBron is leaning towards signing with the Heat

Additionally, Smith speculated that Raptors forward Chris Bosh would be joining James in Miami. The duo would join Heat guard Dwayne Wade forming a potentially dominant hardwood triumvirate.

"I got a call last night from a source and I double-checked with another and they told me essentially that LeBron James and Chris Bosh are going to tag team and go together and join Dwayne Wade in Miami," Smith told Patrick.

"…Dwayne Wade has done a very good job of convincing them not just about [Heat president] Pat Riley, not just about the fact that there are no [state] income taxes in the state of Florida but at the same time he's there in a tandem and that's what it's going to take."

Smith seemed pretty confident that his sources were credible. Curiously though, the FoxSports.com article that would be breaking the news has a headline, but nothing else. There is also no mention of the rumor on Smith's personal website either.

Sunday, The New York Times cited a source that claimed that James had made up his mind that he was going to sign with the Bulls.
