Erin Andrews was in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, speaking out on Capital Hill in support of new anti-stalking legislation.

Introduced by Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez of California, Andrews talked about her own experiences and why she thinks the Simplifying The Ambiguous Law, Keeping Everyone Reliably Safe Act of 2010 a.k.a. the Stalkers Act of 2010 is necessary.

As for what Andrews has taken away from her experiences, she has learned to be much more private.

“One thing I’ve learned is you don’t really talk about how you travel
anymore,” she said. “Information is very accessible.”
