Shelden Williams went to the NBA Finals in his only year with the Boston Celtics.

Now, the former lottery pick is taking his winning resume to Denver.

According to AOL Fanhouse, Williams signed a one-year deal with the Nuggets worth a little over $900,000 on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old center averaged 3.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 54 games for the Celtics last year.

Williams, who is Duke University’s all-time leader in rebounds and blocked shots, was picked fifth overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2006 NBA draft.
