Youkilis was recently featured on the website “Portroids.com,” a site started several years back by Rick Demint. Demint’s creation of portroids — portraits taken with a Polariod camera — are featured on the site. Demint snaps pictures — sometimes of famous people — and then has them sign the picture before the image appears.
He was able to get Youkilis’ head shot recently when the Red Sox were in Colorado to play the Rockies during interleague play. The picture captures Youkilis in a look Red Sox fans will sure be familiar with — stoic concentration bordering on incredibly agitated.
By becoming featured on the site, Youkilis joins a list of celebrities that feature names like Jerry Springer, Morgan Freeman, Barack Obama and The Hamburglar to name just a few.
