LeBron James Sued for $4 Million by Leicester Bryce Stovell, Who Claims to Be His Father Could Thursdays night’s hour-long LeBron James news conference turn into an episode of Maury?

Leicester Bryce Stovell, who claims to be LeBron James‘ biological father, is suing James and his mother Gloria James. In 2007, he tried to prove that he was the NBA star’s biological father but, according to him, the two tampered with evidence in what TMZ calls “a diabolical cover-up.”

The 55-year-old Stovell is not only a Princeton graduate, but he earned his law degree from the University of Chicago and later became a senior legal advisor for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He claims to have met Gloria in a Washington D.C. area bar in 1984 and that several months later, she informed him that she was pregnant with a boy, named LeBron.

In 2007, LeBron’s DNA test proved Stovell was not his father, but the man believes the results were tampered with. He is seeking $4 million from LeBron and his mother claiming fraud, defamation and misrepresentation.
