Mike Cameron, just 33 games into his first season with the Red Sox, may not make it past the All-Star break, according to Peter Gammons.

NESN's Red Sox analyst tweeted on Tuesday that the center fielder "may soon have to shut it down."

Cameron, who is batting .255 with one homer and nine RBIs, has been battling abdominal pain all season long. He was on the disabled list with an abdominal strain earlier this year and was scratched moments before Friday's game against the Orioles with soreness.
