Rajon Rondo Scores Seven Points, Hands Out Six Assists in Team USA Showcase Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo looked pretty good in his audition for Team USA.

Rondo scored seven points and dished six assists in a losing effort as his Blue Team lost to the White Team by a score of 114-96.

The game featured the American players who are still in contention for the 14 or 15 roster spots for the world championships. The 19-player roster needs to be cut down by Monday.

Although the roster is likely to be guard-heavy, there are experts out there who believe Rondo will be on the roster once cuts are made.

Oklahoma City star Kevin Durant scored a game-high 28 points. Durant is a lock for the squad and is likely to be looked at as the team leader on a roster that may include the likes of Stephen Curry, Derrick Rose and Kevin Love.
