Sometimes, there are just things you really shouldn't say.

Former Chicago Bears defensive lineman Dan Hampton is likely finding that out the hard way after he made some unfortunate comments when talking about what the Minnesota Vikings need to do in their season opener Thursday night in New Orleans against the Super Bowl champion Saints.

"If you watch that playoff game last year, the Vikings need to go down there and hit that town like Katrina," Hampton said on the TV show Pro Football Weekly. "I think the Vikings go down there and get it done"

Hampton made the remark, referencing the 2005 hurricane that ravished the city of New Orleans, while the cast of the show made their picks for Thursday night's game.
