Males in Red Sox Nation are about to head online in droves. OkCupid.com, a popular free dating website, is apparently a big hit among white female Red Sox fans.
The dating site’s blog, OKTrends, took 526,000 users’ profiles and split them into groups based on race and gender. Then, the site compiled all the interests of these those users to make graphics based on hot topics for each group.
The Red Sox were the top interest of white females.
White men have the Red Sox ranked No. 16 on their overall interests.
Other interests of white women included Jodi Piccoult, boating, NASCAR, and mascara while the New York Yankees were No. 18 on the list.
