Two days have passed since Delonte West broke his right wrist in the Celtics' win Wednesday night over the New Jersey Nets, but so far, little is known about the 27-year-old guard's status going forward.

West wasn't in the building Friday as the C's took on the Raptors at the TD Garden, and his coach didn't have much in the way of an update.

"He did tests today — a CAT scan and two or three other tests," Doc Rivers said before Friday's game. "But I don't know the results."

West broke the same wrist once before, back in 2009 as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He missed 16 games with that injury. It's unknown whether this time will be worse.

"He's out for a while," Rivers said. "He's going to need surgery. Other than that, I don't know what else to tell you."
