'Four Loko' Should Replace Celtics''Big Three' Nickname, Thanks to Rajon Rondo You literally can’t go anywhere in Boston this week without hearing somebody talk about Four Loko.

In case you stay inside and avoid TV, radio, newspapers, and the Internet, Four Loko is a beverage that comes in a 24-ounce can, has an 11-12 percent alcohol by volume and reportedly has the effect of drinking four alcoholic drinks and three cups of coffee.

In short, it messes you up.

It’s all over the news because Massachusetts is set to ban the drink on Monday out of safety concerns.

The name, however, can be kept alive by the four best players on the Celtics.

You see, the whole “Big Three” thing was appropriate a few years ago, when Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen joined Paul Pierce on the tail end of the prime of their careers. They were the unquestioned leaders of that championship team.

They still are, but they have company. Rajon Rondo is perhaps the most electric player in the NBA — it’s almost as if he drinks three cups of coffee before hitting the floor.

Garnett, Pierce and Allen can still bring it, and they’re still the leaders, but it’s obvious at this point that “The Big Three” is no longer entirely accurate.

Why not “Four Loko” as a new nickname? They’re full of energy, and they’ll mess you up.

Is this the dumbest nickname you’ve ever heard? Do you have a better one? Share your thoughts below.
