Paul Pierce further cemented his place as one of the greatest Boston Celtics ever on Wednesday night.

Pierce became the third player in Celtics history to reach the 20,000-point barrier during the Celtics' 105-102 win against the Milwaukee Bucks at TD Garden.

Pierce hit two free throws with 13.3 seconds to play in overtime to give him No. 20,000 and 20,001. He then later hit four more free throws to push his total to 20,005.

Pierce joins Larry Bird and John Havlicek as Celtics in the 20,000-point club and becomes the 36th player in NBA history to reach the milestone.
