What Has Been the Biggest Surprise So Far This Season for the Celtics? Apparently, the Celtics weren't listening to the hoops world when it pretty much predicted the Miami Heat would go undefeated.

In less than a month, the C's have twice taken down LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat — once in Boston and most recently, in South Beach.

But have these two victories been the biggest surprise of the season so far for the C's?

As if you didn't realize it, Rajon Rondo is having a ridiculous year and has more dimes than a 1960s pay phone. When he's not dunking on Bosh, Rondo is dishing it out to his teammates in record fashion and is averaging 14.9 assists per game through nine contests.

Another pleasant surprise this  year has been the play of Glen Davis off the bench, who is averaging 30.2 minutes per game. Big Baby is also averaging 11.6 points and five rebounds per game and leads the C's with a .558 field-goal percentage. He reached double digits in scoring in each of the first six games of the year.

Kevin Garnett has bounced back, coming off one of his most disappointing seasons in which he averaged just 14.3 points per game, his lowest since his rookie season in 1995-96. KG is averaging a double-double (15.1 points, 10.6 rebounds per game)
