The Red Sox' offseason list of free-agent targets is shrinking by the day.

A day after the Red Sox lost out on catcher Russell Martin (and reportedly landed a reliever in Matt Albers), the team missed out on some bullpen help, as the Dodgers have agreed to a three-year deal with free-agent reliever Matt Guerrier, according to Erik Boland.

Guerrier was drawing interest from the Sox and Yankees as well, but the Dodgers swooped in early Wednesday morning and nabbed the 32-year-old righty with seven years of MLB experience under his belt — all with the Twins.

The reliever will not cost a draft pick, since Minnesota declined to offer him arbitration.
