As much media backlash as Antonio Cromartie’s expletive-laced comments about Tom Brady have received, nobody on the Jets seems too bothered, particularly the outspoken cornerback.

According to WEEI, when asked about being the subject of a potential fine from the league, Cromartie expressed that he had no regrets about what he had to say, and he even invoked the Constitution in defending his actions.

“I really don’t care,” Cromartie said. “I’m not going to take anything back about what I said. It’s my opinion and it’s how I feel. I don’t like [Brady]. That’s how I feel. Go back to the First Amendment — I can say what the hell I want to say. Go to that. If you have a problem with me, oh, well, go read the First Amendment. If you don’t like it, take the First Amendment out.”

Unfortunately for Cromartie, the NFL has laws that extend beyond the aegis of the Bill of Rights.
