When the Celtics met up Sunday at their facility in Waltham, it was less a practice than a group doctor's appointment. The C's cut their workouts short early in the afternoon, as they barely had enough players to run a full practice.

Here's a rundown of the Celtics' injury report going into Monday night's showdown with the Orlando Magic:

Kevin Garnett
KG was able to go through an entire practice for the first time Sunday, which opens the door for a possible comeback on Monday night. Celtics coach Doc Rivers said that Garnett "looked great" in the full practice, but also added that if anything goes wrong between now and Monday night, he'll be quick to shut the Big Ticket down.

Shaquille O'Neal
Shaq wasn't able to work out at all Sunday, as he fell down before practice and hurt his right leg. Celtics vice president of media relations Jeff Twiss has announced that the injury is an adductor strain, a day-to-day ailment. Shaq's status for Monday is currently unknown.

Kendrick Perkins
Perk was able to go full-contact for the first time Sunday. He feels great and says he's less than three weeks away from a return to game action. Rivers joked that of all his injured players, Perk looked the best. "I think we should play him tomorrow, if anyone," he said.

Marquis Daniels
Daniels took a hard pick in the back from Perkins early in practice, and he had to sit out for the rest of the afternoon. He now says he's fine and should have no trouble playing Monday against the Magic.

Jermaine O'Neal
Nothing new to report just yet — J.O. has a medical appointment Monday to get one more opinion on his knee, and then he'll make a final decision Tuesday about whether to go under the knife.

Delonte West
West is on the practice floor, but he's still far from making a return to full-contact drills, let alone game action. West spent most of his time Sunday alone, away from his teammates, working on his jump shot. He's still got a large brace on the right wrist that he broke back in November, and it's a slow process for him to build up arm strength again.
