Tickets for Patriots-Jets Playoff Game Up 30 Percent From Regular-Season Average If you want to see the Patriots play the Jets this weekend in person, you better pony up some cash.

Ticket prices for the divisional playoff game between the bitter rivals are soaring, with the average ticket price up 30 percent from the regular-season average.

According to SeatGeek.com, a “ticket search engine” that compiles data from several online secondary markets, the average ticket price for Sunday afternoon’s game is at $294. The average cost of a seat in the regular season is $226.

SeatGeek notes that the most “affordable” seats (those quotation marks are not there by mistake) cost about $200 in the third level of Gillette Stadium. The lowest ticket listed is at $203, as of Tuesday morning.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, the site lists club level tickets that cost as much as $1,872 apiece. Seating in the lower section costs about $1,381.

The average price has dropped significantly since Monday, though, when the average price was $446. SeatGeek said more fans purchased tickets at lower prices, which resulted in the $150 change in one day.
