Carmelo Anthony, La La Vazquez Filming VH1 Reality Show Documenting Move to New York Now that Carmelo Anthony has made the move to the Big Apple, he's embracing the superstar lifestyle.

VH1 announced on Wednesday morning that they are planning a new reality series around Anthony and his wife, television personality La La Vazquez. Apparently, the couple started filming the docu-series in January, right around the time the Carmelo trade saga started kicking into high gear.

The show will pick up where the couple's wedding special, La La's Full Court Wedding, left off, revolving around married life while balancing two high-profile careers and their three-year-old son.

"Viewers connect with La La because despite the fairy tale wedding and NBA star husband, she is a real, down to Earth, hardworking woman who stays true to herself," VH1's vice president of programming and production Jeff Olde said in the release. "The best thing about the new series is that while pursuing and realizing her dreams, La La gets to take us back to her home in New York, where her story began."

The reality series, which has a working title of La La's Full Court Life, is set to premiere in August. The 10 episodes will document Carmelo and La La's adjustment to their sudden move to New York City after Melo's trade to the Knicks.
