It's official, Marquis Daniels will become a Sacramento King.

According to Daniels' agent Mark Bartlestein, the guard will not exercise his right to veto the trade to Sacramento, CSNNE.com's A. Sherrod Blakely reports. Now that the decision has been made, the Celtics can collect the luxury tax rewards that come by trading Daniels.

Bartlestein also added that he doesn't expect the Kings to buy Daniels out of his contract, WEEI.com reports.

Daniels may not be able to return to action this season, due to the spinal cord bruise suffered during a game in early February. Bartlestein emphasized that getting Daniels back to full strength is their main concern this season.

Because of his "Early Bird" contract rights, Daniels could have vetoed the trade from Boston, however, the guard is now primarily focused on getting healthy. Daniels' contract is up at the end of this season.
