Milan Lucic Commends His Teammates for 'Taking Care of Business' Against League-Leading Canucks
The last time the Bruins traveled to play Vancouver two seasons ago, Milan Lucic was a bundle of nerves. The forward said he didn't settle into the game until the second period, anxious to be back playing in front of his hometown fans.
This time around, however, Lucic was full of confidence, as the B's were riding a win streak with three new and talented players on the roster. Lucic posted a stellar night in front of his friends and family at Rogers Arena, scoring a goal and adding two assists in the B's 3-1 victory over the NHL's top team.
"Obviously we have some new guys in the lineup with [Tomas] Kaberle, [Rich] Peverley and Chris [Kelly] and they seem to have fit right in since they joined the lineup," Lucic said during a Skype interview from Ottawa. "[Vancouver] was a great test for us. We knew how great of a team it was, but we battled hard and we were able to come out on top."
