National signing day provides countless happy stories across the country, but this is certainly not one of them.
Chris Carter, a 6-foot-5, 350-pound recruit committed to Ohio State, was arrested for allegedly fondling as many as eight girls, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The report says that Carter, 18, lied to a 15-year-old high school student, taking her out of class and telling her he needed to measure her for an ROTC uniform.
"Once inside the room, [Carter] asked the victim to take off her sweat shirt and shirt so he could take her measurements," it said on the police report. "He cut off the lights … and stated, 'I need you to take your bra off.' [Carter then] put his arms under her arms from behind and attempted to pull her bra up."
That alleged victim was uncooperative and left, while another girl shared a similar story. A notebook that Carter allegedly kept provided police with as many as eight victims.
Carter is a student at John F. Kennedy High School in Cleveland.
"Growing up in Cleveland, my dream was always to play football for the Buckeyes," Carter, a three-star recruit, said when he committed to Ohio State last March.
