Rajon Rondo, LeBron James Among Top 10 Candidates for NBA MVP Honors We’re in the midst of one of the most competitive, most entertaining, and most star-studded seasons in NBA history. The league is rife with superstar-caliber talents, and we’ve got the perfect confluence right now of guys rising to the top, guys already in their primes and guys milking their thirties for a couple more career years.

Simply put, there are more great players now than we’ve seen in a long, long time. As such, the phrase “MVP-caliber season” gets thrown around a lot these days, with seemingly every star making a case for the game’s greatest individual achievement.
