Before Jason Varitek, Kevin Youkilis and Jacoby Ellsbury made names for themselves as members of the Boston Red Sox, the beloved trio played in the Cape League. Varitek suited up for Hyannis in 1991 and 1993, Youkilis played for Bourne in 2000, and Ellsbury spent a summer in Falmouth in 2004.

The Cape League's best will be playing on July 29th at Fenway Park, where the Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game will be hosted for the third straight year.

The event, presented by Jordan's Furniture, the official sponsor of the Red Sox for more than four years, will start at 7:05 p.m. and will include a pregame Home Run Derby, an autograph session with the All-Stars and a silent auction of baseball memorabilia.

"We are excited to add another tier to our partnership with the Red Sox and with Fenway Park through this sponsorship of the Cape League All-Star Game," President and CEO of Jordan's Furniture Eliot Tatelman said. "The Cape Cod All-Star Game at Fenway is a culmination of the season and a great day at Fenway for both families attending and players on the field. We are proud to support it."

All tickets are general admission and are only $10.00 per ticket. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, March 23, at 12 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets either by visiting the Red Sox website or calling (877) REDSOX-9. Fans can also purchase tickets at any Cape game when the season begins on June 10. Each pair of tickets purchased at any Cape game comes with the added bonus of a $100 Jordan's coupon.

The Cape League is celebrating its 127th season this year and has been a successful starting point for many baseball players. There are more than 230 players currently in the majors who started their baseball careers on the Cape.
