Liverpool will surely be in the market for wide players with the ability to beat defenders with their feet this summer, and there's nowhere better to look for players in that mold than FC Barcelona.

The Reds, apparently, are doing exactly that, as according to Sky Sports, the club is mulling a bid for Venezuelan 23-year-old Jeffren.

Jeffren, who has been with Barca since 2006, has struggled to crack the first team since first getting a chance in 2008, and now, the winger may be on the way out.

"It's not easy to succeed in Barcelona, but it's my dream," said Jeffren, according to Sky Sports. "If the club decides that I am not needed, then it's understandable to consider my options."

According to Sky Sports, Barcelona will be looking for approximately £9 million for Jeffren, though his value, per TransferMarkt, is closer to £3 million.

Jeffren, however, is under contract until 2012. See his highlights below.
