Derrick Mason might want to remember who runs the league he plays in.
The Baltimore Ravens receiver called NFL commissioner Roger Goodell "a joke" in his weekly appearance on 105.7 FM Baltimore's The Norris & Davis Show, according to ESPN.
Goodell said Monday that the new labor agreement will include rigorous testing for human growth hormone, with the possibility of a blood test as well.
Referencing Goodell's comments, Mason said "He needs to stop crying about blood tests and HGH. He needs to try to get a deal done, that's what he needs to do.
"To me, he's a joke, because every time I look, he's talking about performance enhancements instead of talking about trying to figure out a way to make sure football is played in August."
Mason joins a long list of frustrated NFL players unhappy with progress on a new labor deal.
Adrian Peterson recently blasted the league, saying that the labor situation "is modern-day slavery, you know?"
Not all NFL players are against the proposition of testing, however, as the always colorful Antonio Cromartie tweeted "Jus was reading an article about HGH testing in the NFL. I'm for it I'm not against it. If u against that mean you hiding something."
