Doc Rivers will be a busy man on Wednesday night — not preparing for the Celtics' next game, per se, since he doesn't yet know the identity of their next opponent. But he does have a lot of TV to watch.

The Heat are taking on the Sixers at 7 p.m. Wednesday, with a chance to close out their first-round series and advance to play the C's. Meanwhile, also at 7 p.m., the Bruins are taking on the Canadiens in Boston. Doc knows what to watch.

"Both," he said. "I have two TVs."

He says he likes the Bruins to outlast the Habs and win Game 7, probably by a squeaker of 2-1 or 3-2. As for the NBA contest, the coach admits he's let his mind wander toward a potential second-round meeting with the Heat.

"Oh yeah, definitely," Rivers said. "They're up 3-1, so clearly you look in that direction."

In the meantime, the Celtics are enjoying their rest as they await round two. The longer the Sixers stay alive in their first-round series, the longer the C's get to sit and wait.

"I'm cheering for Philly the next two games," Rivers said. "Then in Game 7, I don't care who wins."

With the Heat-Sixers series still up in the air, the Celtics have a nice relaxed week to themselves, without the hassle of stressing over a particular opponent.

"We get a chance to work on our own stuff," Rivers said. "Very similar to a training camp, you know. When you're starting camp, you really don't have an opponent, you're just trying to work on your own stuff. Now we have an opportunity to do that, with rest, which is good."

Plus a little TV. That's good, too.
