The New England Patriots were expected to address their pass rush in this year's NFL Draft. They did, but it wasn't until the sixth round.

With the 194th overall pick, the Patriots selected Markell Carter, who played at the I-AA level at Central Arkansas. He is listed at 6-foot-4 and 252 pounds.

Carter will likely move from defensive end to outside linebacker. He moves around fairly well for a big player. The Oklahoma native ran the 40-yard dash in 4.70 seconds at the NFL Combine.
