Next Saturday, Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb might be Jean Pascal's greatest fan, as he roots for the WBC light heavyweight champion to beat the snot out of Bernard Hopkins.

Hopkins has never been a fan of McNabb, and the boxer unleashed some racially charged insults on the quarterback, according to the Philadelphia Daily News.

"Forget this," Hopkins said, pointing to his own dark skin, according to the report. "He's got a suntan. That's all."

Hopkins has publicly bashed McNabb at least three other times in the past. Hopkins grew up in Philadelphia as an Eagles fan, and that appears to be the root of his problem with McNabb.

Hopkins said this week he didn't respect McNabb's spoiled upbringing, which the boxer believed led to a lack of toughness.

"Why do you think McNabb felt he was betrayed? Because McNabb is the guy in the house, while everybody else is on the field. He's the one who got the extra coat. The extra servings. 'You're our boy,'" Hopkins said, patting a reporter on the back in illustration, according to the Daily News. "He thought he was one of them."

Marcus Hayes, the Philadelphia Daily News reporter, believed there was an added meaning to Hopkins' statement.

"Replace 'guy in the house' with 'slave in the house,' then replace 'on the field' with 'in the field,' and Hopkins' message is Uncle Tom-clear," Hayes wrote.

Hopkins has faced immediate criticism from his comments against McNabb, who will not respond to the comments, his publicist told the Daily News.
