Brandon Meriweather became the second Patriots safety to release a rap song during the lockout.

Meriweather released the song Friday on the Toucher and Rich show on 98.5 The Sports Hub, and it's about a friend who recently died.

Earlier this month, Pats safety Bret Lockett unveiled a music video in an effort to promote an upcoming mixtape.

Meriweather told Toucher and Rich that he is the first rapper (not singer) on the song, and he plans to release a full album later.
