Report: Patrice Bergeron Cleared to Play, Will Be in Game 3 Lineup Against Lightning

The Bruins will be getting a big boost for Game 3.

Patrice Bergeron has been medically cleared to play and will be in the lineup for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final against the Tampa Bay Lightning Thursday night, according to two of ESPN.com’s team sources.

Bergeron was injured in Game 4 against the Flyers in the Eastern Conference semifinals. The center was third on the B’s with 57 points in the regular season and despite missing the last two games, remains second on the squad with 12 postseason points.
